With almost twenty years in marketing and communications, Heather has worked as a creative director, account director, copywriter and social media strategist. She holds an MBA from Royal Roads University and an Honours Degree in Psychology from McMaster University as a Chancellor’s Scholarship recipient. She is also a Certified ScrumMaster under the Agile Project Methodology Framework. Heather began her career managing projects and communications campaigns in the not-for-profit sector, later moving to an agency setting where she honed her writing and creative talents.

In her career, Heather has worked on strategies and campaigns for organizations including Perimeter Institute, BNP Paribas Open, Tennis Canada, Rogers Cup, the Economic Developers Association of Canada, Dofasco (now Arcelor-Mittel), Big Brothers-Big Sisters, McMaster University, the Hamilton Health Sciences Network, Mohawk College and the Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada.
